What we fix on the road
If it keeps the wheels turning, the air building, or the lights lit — we carry the parts and the tooling to handle it in the field. No tow bill, no waiting for a bay to open up.

Air brake systems
Chambers, slack adjusters, valves, lines and compressor faults. We diagnose the leak, replace the part, and re-set the stroke before you roll.

Roadside tire service
Steer, drive and trailer tires changed on the shoulder. Torque re-checked to spec, damaged casings removed, spares mounted and balanced.

Electrical & lighting
Trailer wiring, seven-way plugs, ABS lamp faults, alternators and starters. Shorts traced with a load tester instead of guesswork.

Diesel diagnostics
No-start, derate, low power and regen issues read straight off the ECM. Fault codes pulled and cleared, sensors tested before anything gets swapped.

Hydraulics & air lines
Burst hoses, leaking rams, wet tanks and gladhand failures. Field-crimped hose assemblies made to length on site.

Trailer body & doors
Roll-up doors, hinges, latches, landing gear and mudflap hangers. Reefers checked for belt, clutch and defrost faults.

Pre-trip & DOT inspections
Full circle check with a written report — brakes, lights, tires, coupling, load securement. Ideal before a long haul or a CVOR audit.

Fleet maintenance
Scheduled PM for small fleets, done in your yard overnight so nothing sits out a shift. Oil, filters, greasing and brake adjustment on a set rotation.
Twenty-two years under the hood
Retro started as a one-truck operation out of a yard off Martin Grove, doing brake work for owner-operators who couldn't afford to sit. Word travelled the way it does in this trade — one dispatcher tells another, and suddenly you're the guy they call at 3 a.m.
Today we run fully equipped service trucks stocked with the parts that actually fail: brake chambers, gladhands, relays, lamps, hose and fittings. Most jobs are finished where the truck is parked. When a repair genuinely needs a shop, we say so up front rather than burn your night.
We quote before we turn a wrench. No surprise line items on the invoice.

Typical arrival inside the GTA is 45 to 60 minutes. Longer runs out to Milton, Bolton or Oshawa get an honest ETA.
